Às dezesseis horas e quarenta e três minutos, constatando-se a existência de <em>quorum</em> regimental, o Senhor Presidente declarou abertos os trabalhos da presente reunião. Ato seguinte, a Presidência, nos termos do artigo 55, parágrafo 1º, da Lei Orgânica Municipal, recebeu o Prefeito de Caruaru, Excelentíssimo Senhor Rodrigo Pinheiro, e convocou uma Comissão formada pelos Vereadores Leonardo Chaves e Ricardo Liberato, e pelas Vereadoras Aline Nascimento e Mery da Saúde, para conduzi-lo à Mesa dos Trabalhos. Posteriormente, convidou o Vereador Lula Tôrres para fazer a leitura do Salmo 96. A Presidência abriu espaço na Sessão para o Prefeito de Caruaru, Excelentíssimo Senhor Rodrigo Pinheiro, que utilizou a tribuna para realizar prestação de contas e apresentar seu plano de governo: discurso disponível em áudio. O Presidente suspendeu a sessão para um registro oficial dos parlamentares com o Senhor Prefeito de Caruaru. Prosseguindo, a Presidência solicitou do Senhor Primeiro Secretário a leitura do expediente, que constou do seguinte: Ofício nº 1.105/2024, de autoria do Prefeito Rodrigo Pinheiro, encaminhando o Relatório Resumido de Execução Orçamentária (RREO) do 6º Bimestre e o Relatório de Gestão Fiscal (RGF) do 3º quadrimestre de 2023. A Vereadora Perpétua solicitou constar em ata que fará pedido para realização de Audiência Pública com o objetivo de discutir sobre a desativação do Hospital e Maternidade Jesus Nazareno - FUSAM, bem como registrar Voto de Aplausos ao Secretário de Infraestrutura Urbana e Obras Andrews Melo pelo trabalho realizado em Caruaru. A Presidência encerrou a reunião às dezoito horas e cinquenta e cinco minutos. Convocou a próxima reunião ordinária para terça-feira, dia 06 de fevereiro de 2024, às dezesseis horas.
