Às dezesseis horas e dezessete minutos, constatando-se a existência de <em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">quorum</em> regimental, a Presidência declarou abertos os trabalhos da presente reunião. Posteriormente, convidou o Vereador Fagner Fernandes para fazer a leitura do Salmo 46. Registrem-se as presenças dos seguintes vereadores: Aline Nascimento, Anderson Correia, Bruno Lambreta, Cabo Cardoso, Carlinhos da Ceaca, Edmilson do Salgado, Fagner Fernandes, Filipe José, Galego de Lajes, Irmão Ronaldo, Izaac da Saúde, Jorge Quintino, Katia da Rendeiras, Leonardo Chaves, Lula Tôrres, Mano do Som, Maurício Caruaru, Mery da Saúde, Nelson Diniz, Perpétua Dantas e Ricardo Liberato. Ausências dos vereadores Ranilson Enfermeiro e Val Lima, devidamente justificadas. Prosseguindo, a Presidência solicitou do Senhor Primeiro Secretário a leitura do expediente, que constou do seguinte: Ofício nº 1.761/2021, de autoria da Prefeita Raquel Lyra, encaminhando mensagem de veto nº 001/2021, Veto Integral ao Projeto de Lei de nº 8.813/2021, que "torna obrigatória a instalação de câmeras de monitoramento e segurança nas escolas municipais de educação e dá outros provimentos." Ás comissões competentes. Projeto de Resolução nº 740/2021, de autoria da Mesa Diretora: altera o disposto no artigo 2º, inciso VII e artigo 11 da Resolução n.º 573/2015, que Promulga a Escola do Legislativo no âmbito do Município de Caruaru e dá outras providências. Às comissões competentes. Projeto de Lei nº 8.928/2021, de autoria do Vereador Cabo Cardoso: trata da obrigatoriedade de serem ministradas palestras em postos de saúde deste município no tocante a primeiros socorros durante o pré-natal e principalmente orientações sobre como agir em casos de engasgamento do recém-nascido no momento da amamentação. Fizeram uso da palavra os vereadores Cabo Cardoso, Lula Tôrres, Katia da Rendeiras, Perpétua Dantas, Jorge Quintino, Mery da Saúde, Anderson Correia, Mano do Som, Aline Nascimento e Fagner Fernandes: discursos disponíveis em áudio. A Vereadora Perpétua Dantas solicitou constar em ata que, em alusão ao dia nacional da dança, comemorado na data de 29 de abril, irá apresentar na próxima Sessão um requerimento ao Executivo para que seja criado o balé popular de Caruaru, além de um Projeto de Lei criando o dia e a semana municipal da dança. A Presidência deu início à Ordem do Dia, solicitando do Senhor Segundo Secretário a chamada das Senhoras Vereadoras e dos Senhores Vereadores, o qual constatou as presenças de vinte e um Parlamentares. Numa questão de ordem, o Vereador Mano do Som solicitou que o veto nº 01/2021, ao Projeto de Lei nº 8.813/2021, seja apreciado em Plenário na Sessão do dia 29/04/2021. Registrado. Os Requerimentos de nºs 1732 e 1733/2021, de autoria do Vereador Ranilson Enfermeiro, ausente a esta Sessão, foram retirados de pauta.
